Excellence is a Habit

Excellence is a Habit

We are what we repeatedly do, and at MBE Group, we insist on excellence. On every editing routing slip we attach to our written work, we are asked the question, “Did you insist on excellence?” But with everything we do, in the back of our mind, we are always asking “is this work excellent?” And we are by no means perfect, we know that not everything we do is excellent – but with an average client retention duration rate of 7.25 years, we know we must be doing something right.

Excellence doesn’t come naturally. It’s a choice. It takes dedication and hard work. It’s the conscious effort to give your best effort for your team and your client – every single time. By nurturing a spirit of excellence into your work culture, you will be a more successful organization, your teamwork will flourish and you will delight the client again and again.

In order to set itself apart, an organization can’t choose to be outstanding in just one area. There has to be a spirit of “giving it our all” in every aspect of our work all the time. The key here is “all the time.” Excellence is only noticed if it’s the standard. Anyone can be excellent sometimes, but it takes discipline to consistently strive for it. Is it easy – no? Is it worth it – definitely.

It takes 66 days to form a habit.

We’ve been consistently striving for excellence for more than 30 years.

This is a habit we don’t plan to break.
