Marx Buscemi Eisbrenner Group (MBE Group), a full-service marketing communications agency highly focused in the automotive, mobility, trucking, tech and consumer goods industries, has announced that Brittney Popa has been promoted to the position of senior account director. Previously, she was an account director with the agency.
With over a decade of experience working at MBE Group, Popa has supported and led a wide variety of projects for clients, from Tier 1 automotive suppliers to academic institutions and nonprofit organizations. With exceptional abilities in storytelling, thought leadership, strategic communication, media relations, project execution and technical writing, Popa consistently shows how valuable she is to MBE Group.

Before joining MBE Group, Popa worked on uplifting community stories, serving as a freelance editor and writer for Oakland County Patch.com news sources, in addition to various women’s magazines. Popa proved early on that she was capable of handling different responsibilities at once, writing an average of 25 articles on a monthly basis during her time as a journalist.
As senior account director, Popa will be tasked with the execution of strategy throughout various accounts while maintaining client relationships and ensuring marketing goals are met. She will also create strategic marketing plans, review analytics, execute branding campaigns, manage client relationships and mentor team members in her new role.
Popa has a dual bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising from Michigan State University. Additionally, she is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Detroit Chapter, the Automotive Press Association and the MEMA Marketing Communications Council.
