Challenges

Client X is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 die casting manufacturer serving customers across numerous markets. Labor shortages continue to negatively impact Client X facilities, most especially across 3 different locations in the U.S in Michigan, Arkansas and Wisconsin

The goal was to increase Client X’s voice in the market to potential candidates, capture their attention as an employment option and convert to an application that leads to a hire.

Creative

Copy was written to focus on a universal recruitment message for career building, full and part-time opportunities and highlight key HR benefits like bonuses. Images were selected to focus on people and their faces and not on manufacturing.

Website

Built one HR specific landing page and three location-specific, easy-apply hiring pages containing information for full and part-time positions.

Ad Campaign

Ran an 8-week digital campaign that included:

  • Geo-targeting within a 25-mile radius around each location
  • Ad spend of $50,000
  • Digital radio ads (Spotify & Pandora)
  • Meta ads (FB & IG)
  • Search ads
  • Responsive display ads

The ad campaign garnered an average of 1.65% with the highest CTR in one location reaching 7.64%. The program has been so successful for Client X, they are growing the campaign to other locations.
