Account Executive
Job Description

At MBE Group, you’ll lead campaign execution, develop and implement client strategies, guide project teams, create compelling content, and collaborate with teammates and clients to produce stellar marketing communications programs.

Responsibilities:
- Dive deep into client needs and challenges, and have a passion for solving problems
- Foster and manage day-to-day client relationships and projects
- Participate in the development of integrated marketing strategies for clients, using traditional, digital and creative agency offerings
- Collaborate with account team members – including leadership, account coordinators, account managers, creative and digital team members, and others in order to produce great results
- Support direct and indirect client account teams, creative teams, leadership and other AEs as needed
- Coordinate strategy meetings, project timelines, project allocation and team responsibilities
- Conduct research/competitive reviews – social media competitive reviews, web reviews, ad programs, media coverage, and more
- Write and edit exceptional content for websites, ads, social, media communications, and beyond
- Manage social media platforms– writing, posting, digging for content, engagement, etc.
- Help organize and support news conferences and events
- Execute media planning for clients, including monthly program management and ad placement
- Develop and grow relationships with journalists, and develop and pitch relevant, useful stories
- Create editorial outreach plans
- Create monthly and/or quarterly summaries and presentations that recap client success for the period
- Network – both local and at out-of-town events – to establish relationships with potential clients and media contacts in relevant market segments

Minimum Requirements for the role:
- 4-7 years of related work experience in public relations, advertising, or journalism
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of integrated marketing tools and tactics
- Social media platform knowledge and experience
- A love of writing: PR, advertising or journalism, with knowledge of AP Style
- Experience leading and managing accounts, projects and campaigns
- A desire to learn and collaborate with all team members and clients
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and with teams in various time zones (PT & ET, Europe, Asia)
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Able to work 40 hours a week
- Minimum BS/BA in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
- Some travel (up to 20%) may be required
An ideal candidate also has:
- Experience in the automotive, performance or trucking industries, and/or aftermarket
- Familiarity with industry media, associations and events
