Brittney Popa

When it comes to juggling, Brittney’s a pro. Maybe not traditional juggling, but she’s well-versed in balancing client needs and shifting priorities. As a senior account director, Brittney has significant experience managing the execution of communication strategies and tactics for multiple accounts ranging from Tier 1 automotive suppliers to academic institutions to non-profit organizations. Brittney creatively and effectively meets her clients’ needs by leveraging a wide range of skillsets, including project management, thought leadership, media relations, message development, account strategy, social media, technical writing, storytelling and more.

Prior to working at MBE Group, Brittney worked as a freelance writer and editor for numerous Oakland County news sites, in addition to local women’s magazines. Averaging 25 stories per month, Brittney was enthralled in capturing uplifting community stories.

Brittney graduated with dual bachelor’s degrees from Michigan State University, one in journalism and one in advertising. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Detroit Chapter, Automotive Public Relations Council and Automotive Press Association.

When she’s not working, she’s busy keeping pace with her adorable (and very energetic) children, reading or spending time in northern Michigan where she grew up.
